COOKIE POLICY

Swimming Analysis — operated by Swimlytics Dijital Spor Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi

Last Updated: 17 August 2026 Version: 1.0

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and improve your experience.

This policy also covers browser local storage — a similar technology that stores data on your device without an expiry date unless cleared manually.

2. WHAT WE USE AND WHY

Swimming Analysis uses only essential and functional cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising, analytics, or behavioural tracking cookies.

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without them you cannot log in or use any authenticated feature. They cannot be disabled without breaking the platform.

NamePurposeSet byDuration

sb-rememberRecords whether you chose "Remember me" at login, so your session cookies are given the correct lifetimeSwimming AnalysisSession — cleared when you close your browser
sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifierTemporary security value used to complete a sign-in or password reset securely. Normally removed as soon as you finish signing in; if a sign-in is started but never completed it may remain for up to ~400 daysSwimming AnalysisUntil sign-in completes (up to ~400 days if abandoned)

2.2 Functional Local Storage

These are not cookies — they are stored in your browser's local storage. They remember your display preferences so the platform looks and behaves the way you set it up each time you return.

ItemPurposeDuration
Theme preferenceRemembers whether you prefer light or dark modePersistent until cleared
Sidebar stateRemembers whether the sidebar is open or collapsedPersistent until cleared
Progress markersRemembers an in-progress upload or (for admins) an in-progress race-tagging session so it can be resumed or its status checkedCleared when the action completes, on sign-out, or after a short timeout

None of this data is transmitted to us or to any third party. It exists only on your device.

3. WHAT WE DO NOT USE

We do not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies
  • Analytics or behavioural tracking cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Session recording or heatmap tools

Videos on our platform — including demo videos on our public pages — are served directly from our own infrastructure. No third-party video platform cookies are set.

4. MANAGING COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

4.1 Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Please note: Deleting or blocking our authentication cookies will log you out of the platform and prevent you from logging back in until a new session cookie is set.

4.2 Local Storage

You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or by clearing your browser's site data. Clearing local storage will reset your display preferences (theme, sidebar state, date format) to their defaults. It will not affect your account or any data stored on our servers.

5. FUTURE CHANGES

If we introduce any new cookies or third-party integrations that set cookies in your browser — such as analytics tools or embedded content — we will update this policy before doing so and implement an appropriate consent mechanism where required by law.

6. CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The current version is always available at swimminganalysis.com/cookie-policy.

For information about how we handle your personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy. For any questions about this Cookie Policy, contact us at [email protected].
